Less monitoring. More riding.
Watch your show.
Hit your targets.
VeloLoop is a simple indoor cycling app that monitors your power, cadence and heart rate while you watch what you love. Drift outside your target and your screen gently lets you know — an ambient overlay that guides your effort without covering your video.
Works alongside Zwift, TrainerRoad or ROUVY — or use it on its own with a smart trainer or any Bluetooth sensor. No subscription required.

How it works
Set up once. Then just ride.
Connect your sensors
Pair your Bluetooth power meter, trainer, heart-rate monitor or cadence sensor.
Import or build a workout
Bring a workout from Zwift, TrainerRoad or Garmin, or create your own targets in VeloLoop.
Watch and ride
Press play on your show. VeloLoop monitors your effort and gently adjusts your screen when you drift off target.
Flexible by design
One app. Two ways to ride.
Keep your training setup
Lose the constant dashboard checking.
Running Zwift, ROUVY or TrainerRoad? VeloLoop can provide ambient screen feedback alongside your existing app — when your hardware and Bluetooth setup allow independent sensor access.

Built for real workouts
Everything you need for focused indoor training. Nothing you don't.
Steady aerobic sessions
Set your targets and ride. Perfect for long Zone 2 sessions where you want to maintain effort without watching numbers.
Structured intervals
Build warm-up, work and recovery blocks with up to 200 steps. Add repeat groups for complex sessions. Import workouts from ZWO, ERG, MRC and FIT files.
Flexible targets
Set ranges, minimums, maximums — or turn metrics off entirely. Each metric has its own independent target and grace period.
Ambient screen feedback
Screen dimming, viewing-area reduction and optional audio reduction guide your effort. Two strength presets — Gentle and Normal — let you choose how much feedback you want.
Local FIT recording
Every ride is saved as a standard FIT file in your Documents folder. Import manually into Garmin Connect, Strava, TrainingPeaks or any platform that accepts FIT uploads.
Optional Workout Monitor
A separate window with live power, cadence, heart rate, interval progress and upcoming steps — when you want the numbers.

FAQ
Common questions
VeloLoop is a lightweight desktop app that watches your cycling power, cadence and heart rate during indoor rides. When your effort drifts outside your targets, it gently adjusts your screen — dimming it or narrowing the viewing area — so you instinctively correct without checking numbers. Use it as a companion alongside Zwift, TrainerRoad or any other cycling app, or go standalone: import a workout, set your own targets, and ride to your favourite shows or music.
No. VeloLoop works entirely on its own. Import a structured workout or set your own power, cadence and heart-rate targets, then ride while watching whatever you like. Every session is automatically recorded as a FIT file you can upload to Strava, Garmin Connect or TrainingPeaks afterwards.
Yes — VeloLoop runs as a transparent overlay on top of your cycling app. It reads your sensor data independently and provides screen-based feedback while the other app handles routes, ERG plans or virtual worlds. Because each app needs its own sensor connection, you may need to connect VeloLoop via BLE and your cycling app via ANT+ or Wi-Fi, or use a separate BLE power meter. Compatibility depends on your hardware — some trainers allow multiple BLE connections, others do not. Learn more about multi-app setup.
Not necessarily. VeloLoop works with any Bluetooth Low Energy sensor that broadcasts cycling power, cadence or heart rate — a dedicated power meter, a heart-rate strap or a cadence sensor is enough. By default VeloLoop runs in Feedback Only mode, which is read-only and never controls your trainer. Optional ERG and manual resistance modes are available for compatible FTMS trainers. Learn about smart trainer control.
VeloLoop's feedback is designed to nudge, not obstruct. Screen dimming reduces brightness gently, and border mode narrows the visible area just enough to notice. You can still see your content clearly — the change prompts a correction without ruining your show. Two built-in presets (Gentle and Normal) let you choose how much feedback you want. See how the overlay works.
VeloLoop imports structured workouts from ZWO (Zwift), ERG and MRC (TrainerRoad / CompuTrainer), FIT workout files (Garmin Connect) and its own JSON format. If a workout uses FTP-relative targets, VeloLoop converts them to absolute watts automatically. See the full import guide.
Yes. Every ride is automatically saved as a standard FIT file in your Documents folder. Each file contains second-by-second power, cadence and heart-rate data you can upload manually to Garmin Connect, Strava, TrainingPeaks or any platform that accepts FIT files. Built-in Strava upload is included in the desktop app and can be enabled once configured. Learn about exporting activities.
By default VeloLoop runs in Feedback Only mode, which is strictly read-only — it monitors your sensors without sending any commands to your trainer. For riders who want direct control, optional ERG and manual resistance modes can target power or resistance on compatible FTMS trainers. You choose your mode before each ride, and you stay in full control at all times.
VeloLoop is currently in beta for Windows 11. macOS is not available in the current release — the application builds and passes automated tests on macOS, but the screen overlay has not been verified on that platform. There are no current plans for Linux or mobile.
No. VeloLoop is planned as a small one-time purchase — no recurring fees, no cloud account and no usage limits. Learn more about the pricing model.
VeloLoop supports eight languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. You can switch language at any time without restarting.
