What VeloLoop does
VeloLoop is a desktop application for indoor cycling that runs locally on your computer. It does not require an internet connection, cloud account or user login to function.
Desktop application
The VeloLoop desktop application does not collect, transmit or store any personal information beyond your local workout files. No internet connection is required and no data is sent to any server at any time.
During a ride, sensor data (power, cadence, heart rate) is processed in memory on your device. When the ride ends, that data is saved as a FIT activity file to your local Documents/VeloLoop/Rides folder. These files remain on your computer and are never uploaded automatically.
Workout presets and application settings are stored locally on your computer. VeloLoop has no user accounts, no cloud storage and no telemetry.
Website and Help Centre
This website and the Help Centre are static pages. No analytics, advertising trackers or third-party tracking scripts are currently configured.
This website may collect email addresses submitted voluntarily through the beta signup form. This information is used solely to notify you when VeloLoop becomes available for testing or purchase.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Essential cookies may be used for basic website functionality.
Data retention
FIT activity files created by the desktop application are stored locally on your computer and kept until you choose to delete them. There is no server-side retention because VeloLoop does not transmit any data.
Email addresses collected through the beta signup form will be retained until you request removal or the beta programme concludes.
Email list provider
When configured, signup data is processed by a third-party email service provider (to be confirmed before launch). We do not sell, rent or share email addresses with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights

Changes
